With unique expertise in wedding show trends, marketing, and logistics, J. Reverie Events is set to unify the wedding show industry and set a standard for wedding shows everywhere.
There are dozens of wedding trade shows in every market, thousands nationwide — but what brings them together? Where are the tools and systems to launch a brand new show? Where is the community of fellow show hosts to encourage and help one another? And where are the data for wedding vendors to help determine whether investing in a show will bring a good return on investment? These resources have not existed — until now. J. Reverie Events was created with these questions in mind and is determined to be the answer.
Our services and personally hosted events are comprehensive. To start, we offer education to industry professionals through an online forum, an exclusive collective, e-courses, and digital & regional conferences. We also offer consulting for venues wishing to showcase their space and promote their favorite vendors, as well as industry organizations who want to host an amazing event of their own. Our customized consulting services ensure you have the strategies and tools in place for a wedding show that aligns with your brand and meets your marketing and financial goals. Finally, we plan and execute two shows of our own: Rev Affair, a savvy spin on the classic wedding show; and Rev Recycled, a quarterly consignment event that connects couples and professionals wishing to sell or purchase wedding-related merchandise.
We believe that exceptional wedding shows are an invaluable source of inspiration and connection, both for the couples who attend them and for the professionals who invest in them. Our mission is to bring more of these events – both our clients’ and our own – to the marketplace, and to use them to elevate the industry we love.
Like many wedding professionals, Rochelle’s career and place within the industry has been an evolving journey, all of which helped her develop the skills and passion that serve her in her current position. Prior to forming J. Reverie Events, Rochelle’s work included owning her own on-site hairstyling company, working as an assistant in an event rental company, and holding the position of editor-in-chief of a wedding blog.
In 2012, Rochelle launched Baltimore’s best-known wedding blog, Charm City Wed, and served as its co-founder and editor for three years. Under the umbrella of Charm City Wed, she co-produced The Mix Event, an eclectic, thoughtfully-designed wedding show.
A native of Buffalo, NY, Rochelle moved to Baltimore in 2007 on a whim and never left. She loves living in Charm City and loves the local wedding industry, and it is her passion to help connect event professionals with engaged couples. She currently resides in the historic neighborhood of Marble Hill with her husband and 2 children.
